FIRST BORN

All my life all I wanted was to have childern. Then on 2/17/1976 I was blessed with a daughter whom we named, Janet Lee Ticknor.

She has been a very good daughter and a friend to me. Through the years of growing up she has made me proud of her.

From watching her walk to graduation.

Along the way seeing her dance.
Act in plays,and singing. Also fishing on the St Lawrence.

Unlike me she wasn't much of a tomboy she became a young lady.Then came the prom and graduation from high school.

Then college years started and I had to let go. She graduated from SUNY at Oneonta with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre. She graduated in May 2000,with a Masters in Theatre,

Stage Management from Iowa University.

Me, Janet, Amy, and Phil, in Iowa at graduation.After graduation Janet and Amy, moved to the east coast and settled in the Washington D.C. area. Amy was working for Airborne Express. Janet was doing an apprenticeship at Round House Theatre in the area.

Then in the spring of 2001,Janet and Amy moved to Alpharetta, Georgia.

Amy had gotten a promotion and a new position to work in Atlanta, She works for ADP,the payroll,benefits adminstration and human resource leader. To learn more about ADP (click here)

Janet got a job as assistant stage manager at the Alliance Theatre Co. in Atlanta. Then she got a job at ADP along the way.

Shortly after their wedding they aquired an instant family. Amy and Janet got custody of Amy's nephew Philip, yes Philip but with only 1 L, unlike Janet's brother Phillip. Here is a pic of him climbing the wall in Georgia.

In the fall of 2007 Janet and Amy purchased a new home in Dawsonville and moved into this lovely home of there's to share for a life time

along with Phil who is getting to be a young man.

Here is a pic of Janet with pine cones from the backyard and we cannot forget Amy with her cone. They all enjoy there new home in the woods and I am very happy for them all.
